‘Fast & Furious Crossroads’ Is Being Pulled From Stores - Bandai Namco

Bandai Namco has announced that Fast & Furious Crossroads will no longer be available to purchase on April 29, 2022, almost two years after its release.

This was announced in an update on the game’s official website, which stated that “all product sales will end”. However, you don’t need to worry if you’ve already purchased the game digitally, as it will remain in your system’s library and can still be played. The same goes for all of its DLCs.

The servers for the game’s multiplayer mode will still run as usual and remain active for current players to enjoy.

Bandai Namco did not provide a reason as to why they have decided to halt all sales for the game, though it’s not difficult to speculate why.

Fast & Furious Crossroads was released on August 7, 2020 and was met by overwhelmingly negative reviews from both critics and fans alike. It currently sits at a very low 35% Metascore from critics and a 1.8 user score on Metacritic.

It is an underwhelming game adaptation of the hit-blockbuster action franchise and can be considered a massive failure for Bandai Namco as they look to leave the game behind and move on.

IGN gave the game a 4/10 for its shallow and simplistic gameplay.
